STEP 5: Submit your application in person at the U.S. Embassy
The final step in the process of obtaining a US non-immigrant visa is to submit your application at the US Embassy and interview with the Consular Officer. The Embassy is located at the corner of United Nations and Independence in the Embassy Park section of Lusaka.
Before coming to the Embassy, ask yourself the following questions:

Have I brought the non-refundable application fee of $131.00 or the ZMK equivalent? All fees must be paid in cash and entirely in one currency (i.e. you cannot pay $100 USD and 155,000 ZMK).

Have I filled out and signed the application forms relevant to my circumstances?

Is my barcode acceptable (refer back to step 1 to see examples of acceptable and unacceptable barcodes).

Have I had the correct sized color photograph taken?

Have I remembered to bring all of my required supporting documentation?

Have I scheduled an appointment online and printed my appointment confirmation page?
