Senator James Inhofe Visits Zambia

U.S. Senator James Inhofe, a Republican Senator from the state of Oklahoma, was on a multi-country trip to the Middle East and Africa, in his capacity as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee. During a stop-over in Zambia on October 10, 2005, he met with His Excellency President Levy Patrick Mwanawasa SC and Foreign Affairs Minister Honorable Lt. Gen. (ret'd) Ronnie Shikapwasha. The Senator commended Zambia's contributions to the fight against global terrorism, and discussed with Zambian leaders security cooperation and bilateral relations between Zambia and the United States.
